A lecturer, teacher, writer and researcher, Dr Laurel Moffatt has spent the last decade combining her research and writing skills with her love of Jesus and the Bible. With a background in tertiary education and more recent experience as the Diocesan Researcher for the Anglican Diocese of Sydney, she brings strengths of not just qualifications and experience, but curiosity and grace to lead Mary Andrews College as Principal.

As of 2023, Reverend Jacinth Myles has faithfully served in Anglican parish ministry for 50 years. Joyfully many women have served in a variety of types of ministry around Sydney and NSW, including chaplaincy, theological education and mission, but perhaps none have had the depth of experience that Jacinth has had in parish ministry.

After 11 years of faithful ministry, Rev. Jacinth Myles is retiring from her role at ADM as Chaplain to the Deaconesses and Retired Deacons. She will be replaced by Rev. Jan Donohoo, who will take on the role of ADM Chaplain.

Jo Gibbs joins the team at Anglican Deaconess Ministries

ADM is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Gibbs as its new CEO, effective 17 November 2020.

Jo Gibbs joins ADM from St Pauls Castle Hill, where she has been the Care and Assistant Discipleship Minister. Prior to this, Jo spearheaded work in international and cross-cultural settings.

Flourishing: ADM’S COO Clare Steele appointed to lead Compassion Australia

Clare Steele, ADM’s Chief Operating Officer, has long been a supporter of Compassion Australia. Her family has sponsored a child for years, and her husband Matt, an Anglican minister, has participated in Compassion-sponsored pastor’s trips overseas.

But it wasn’t until Clare travelled with her family to Cebu City, Philippines, last year that she saw first-hand the extraordinary work Compassion was doing.
