We recently shared with you our vision, mission, and values. Considerable prayer and reflection went into articulating and honouring the rich history of the deaconess’s ministry here in Sydney. Our mission, to “inspire and empower Christian women to bring the love of Jesus to a hurting world” guides all that we do, and we hope and pray that this document is a clear articulation of that vision. 

For 130 years, ADM has risen up to meet gaps in the community from theological training to palliative care, student accommodation and more. And equally we have had the wisdom to change tact as the needs of our communities and churches have changed. Our goal is to remain agile and open to God using us as he wishes in each season.

So, as we turn our attention to our ministries and programs, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of women as the deaconesses before us have, we invite you to share your thoughts, experiences, and insights of ADM with us.

These insights will be used to help shape the future of ADM so please take the time to consider your experiences with our programs and openly share your thoughts with us.

As we read your responses, our prayer is that we will continue steadfast as ‘Women for the Lord’, faithfully serving Christ as the deaconesses who have gone before us.
